A brilliant and upbeat track with catchy hooks, Wake Up Cinderella is a song about 'getting your head out of your ass', grow up and face the realities of life. Although the track has nothing to do with Cinderella or fairy tales, Sandler added sonic elements to enhance the track with a German-made Toy Piano and a mix of mashed up music boxes to create a playful, storybook backdrop to the dark, pleading lyrics. A must listen!
